RACHELLE AYALA does it again...
Best-selling author Rachelle Ayala creates yet another super helpful book for writers! This time she tackles using Artificial Intelligence for both fiction and nonfiction ~ and manages to explain it in such a way even a non-techy person like myself understands. One of my favorite quotes from the book is: "AI isn't here to replace us. In fact, used wisely, it can help us generate ideas and streamline our writing process, but it's still up to us to breathe life into our stories and create authentic, emotional connections with our readers."Rachelle clearly shows AI is a creative tool in our writer's toolbox and, like any good tool, it's function is to make our job easier. AI is a trusty tool to enhance our creativity. Plus it's just plain fun.FIVE STARS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Better Than Love by the Prompt
I read Love by the Prompt first, and I think this is much better. It's shorter, much clearer and to-the-point, and I think it's a great first step book for AI newbies to read. Definitely recommend this one.

A fabulous tool to help guide AI chats
As soon as I saw this new title by Rachelle Ayala, I grabbed it.Like the other writer's guides of hers I've read (Romance in a Month and 366 Ways to Know Your Character) Write with AI is written with a friendly and fun tone (clearly her voice, not an AI!) and actionable steps to implement what she's sharing.I love the opening section where she addresses all the elephant in the room, from the ethics of using AI to how to use it wisely. The next chapters focus on how to use ChatGPT (her tool of choice) to do everything from brainstorm story ideas to draft rough scene outlines. I used the prompts she shared in my tool of choice (QuickWrite) and they worked like a charm. If you're considering playing in the AI sandbox, this book will save you hours of trial and error since Ayala has done the heavy lifting by sharing well-crafted prompts - since AI responses are only as good as the questions being asked of it.

Rachelle rules!
Her books on writing are some of the best. This book takes an interactive approach; it's like sitting over her shoulder as she interacts with ChatGPT and provides instant feedback on the responses, as well as why the AI responds how it does, so we can further learn how to improve our process and achieve our writing goals using ChatGPT. If your goal is for ChatGPT to write for you, that may be fine. But for me, I look to ChatGPT as more of a writing partner to help me in the planning/outlining stages. It also works as a critique, to help you improve areas of your writing where you are weak. Brilliant stuff - I highly recommend this book, as well as all of her writing books.

It's okay but disappointed there was no table of contents
Too many examples of what she did that did absolutely nothing for me. The other information, what helped me, about 20-30 pages, did help. But that wouldn't have made a book for sale worth it. Be careful with this author, lots of filler info to complete the book. I'm glad I purchased it though. If I would have seen the TOC I probably would not have purchased. Which is a trick to increase marketing/sales.

The Title Says it All
This is a great book for beginners. I needed to read it more than once but it did the job since this arena is new to me.

It is a good book but...
Overall, it is a good book for sparking ideas. As the author mentioned in the afterword, the book is an "exploratory journey of writing with AI". She goes from A to Z in her thinking process and uses AI collaboratively to enhance her creative writing process.Although the title says "fiction and nonfiction", around 80% is dedicated to fiction writers. The book will show the possibilities and give the basis for future explorations if you have little or no knowledge of AI (e.g. ChatGPT).An alert for AI users:Remember the importance of humans in the creative process. The author does that, and I want to reinforce it because her example was somehow close to an existing character. When she generates Skylar and her story using AI, the plot reminds many aspects of Agent Daisy Johnson (also known as Skye), an Inhuman from the Agents of SHIELD series. As AI uses references from other texts, it can design something very close to what is already out there. It is a good overview about Ai and writing process.
