They are made in Bangladesh and are 100% cotton.

Q: Regarding the rice we've towel in Brown, is it more of a rust color

I would say yes. I bought the brown/rust and it's perfect.

Q: Is it $32 for 4 washclothes?

I tried to buy the bath towels and received hand towels. I called Amazon about it and they said they would send the right size. I got another box containing the same hand towels again. Still no bath towels. The hand towels are very thin and I do not like them.
