Q: Is this has 3 set of inserts?

$49 and you get 1 pair of inserts. One left shoe insert. One right shoe insert. These Dr Scholl's inserts SAVED ME from plantar fascitis. Great price for reloef on my opinion.

Q: how do you know what size to order for the dr scholls 220

I used the Dr Scholls kiosk at CVS. Dr Scholl's website has a kiosk finder.

Q: do you remove the original sole in the shoe first? or do you just insert on top of the original sole in the shoe?

YES.Have done both. Typically remove the old insert. In the case of an older stretched shoe with a thin pad I have places some on top.

Q: How much height does this add?

Does not add any height? It's just cushioning.
