Q: Is lip sync option available in settings? i have a delay in my sound system and i want to make sure that i can set on the tv.

My niece recently bought the TCL 55" 715 and is returning it due to lip-sync issues. With all of the picture processing features turned off, the audio is frequently behind the image on screen. Given there is no audio sync adjustment on the TV and both her Sky box and AV amp only have audio delay, she has no option but to return the TV because the difference is too noticeable to put up with.

Q: My sony avr has earc, will i miss anything sound wise using this tv?

yes you will, the other guy is wrong, 1st you cant get 7.1 at all or even 5.1 PCM only 2.1 (stereo) also as its only ARC not eARC there's a lag, so if you play games or are quite observant then you'll see say lip-sync issues, hope this helps, as i fell for it.
