The install process is a bit of a pain, only for one reason, you must screw a piece in (saying this for future installers) otherwise it will open regardless. The lock mechanism is not physical. The product is very good and reliable. The battery life is also quite nice, which is expected, however there is no battery drain. It locks and unlocks in very cold weather, I can attest this cuz during a -15 cold snap she worked like a dream. The app associated with the handle is also quite nice and has lots of different features like auto lock during the day and night, or whenever you want. It comes with some keys with very corny sentences like “thats what she said” which didn’t make much sense but maybe that what the Chinese thought would be funny. All in all, for the price it’s fantastic.

I just set this up today and so far it seems to be well worth the money. I can set custom codes and name them, they can be permanent or timed. This comes with key cards that say stupid words on them for example (I said yes). You have to add and activate the cards before they will work. It’s feels pretty sturdy and the install was very easy. I was also able to pair it to the gateway and my Alexa easily.My only complaint is that there is no switch to make it stay unlocked. I have to go into the app and change the setting which is most definitely too time consuming when you want that feature.

This product seems to work so far although set up is difficult due to translation or just poor instructions. The APP manual has a QR code for downloading the app. Problem is it takes you to a site that is all in Chinese (I assume). I was able to download the app from Google play store. In English. It comes with a gateway to connect to your WiFi but it only comes with a USB cord. No AC plug! Luckily I had one laying around from an old cell phone to use. Then they decided to place the usb port (for battery backup) and key hole on the top of the outside half of the unit. This way rain can fall right on it. It's covered by a metal plate that is attached by a strong magnet. I don't have confidence in that protecting it. Also you will need decent fingernails or a knife to open it if you need to. Last thing is while tightening the back plate that secures everything together the plate bends pulling away from the door at the top of the inside unit. Again. It is working well so far and it is fairly cheap. Just beware of the issues it has.

I have a couple of apartments listed on AirBnB and, by far, this is the most energy efficient (it’s battery operated), easy to install & operate, and reliable electronic Key Lock I know of…you can use a 6 digit code, link it to your phone, have temporary and permanent codes, used a card or, in the event of an emergency, use the master key…simply the best!

Bought these .OKCS for the home and barn. Couldn’t be happier. The app the easy to use to set up codes and locking time. Best to use 10-15 seconds to lock. Beautiful blue light when activated.10/10

After multiple attempts to install this lock, including one replacement, we were unable to keep the door from being opened while locked. We may have installed it incorrectly, but we both have college degrees and followed the instructions and watched the video. Customer support did not speak English as a first language, and gave us no help. Finally replaced it with a Schlage lock.

We bought this because my 13-year-old kept losing her key and wouldn’t lock the door when she left for school. It works well for that. All she has to do is shut the door and it locks itself. When she comes home, she just puts in the code to unlock the door.Unfortunately, for whatever reason, we have been unable to link the lock to our wi-fi. That’s the one drawback we’ve found.

This is the most affordable and robust keyless door lock with big features I could find. The construction is impressive given it's under $100. It automatically locks after a few seconds and unlocks using the keypad, credit card style key (2 incl), phone app, and mechanical key. Two keys are provided so you can hide one outside just in case. The keys are cut like laser-cut key profiles on both sides. To use a key you pop out a magnetically held cover plate.Mine has been in operation for a week and works perfectly. I noted that the specs say that operating temperature is between -4 to 140 deg F. Winters in NY can be very cold, -20 deg F and lower. Mine is protected by a storm door so I'll see how it holds up this winter.
