I got the Bailey’s flavor. Yes, it is small but it is rich. Also, I think it is worth the money to eat something delicious. It is also moist and flavorful. I purchased it as a birthday cake for my mother-in-law whose birthday was the day after Thanksgiving. No one wanted to cook, plus we had 4 pies still. It was fantastic and she has asked for a second for Christmas. It is quite good lightly toasted and buttered, with a cup of coffee as a morning treat as well.

This is the best lemony cake, moist and fresh.

This was an awful purchase. Mine wasn't expired and tasted okay... totally average, not rich and chocolate stout-like, but just okay. Nothing to rave about. However, the loaf pan it is packed in was 25% larger than the cake itself. The cake was baked in the pan, but somehow separated during shipping and collapsed on itself. It's as if the shipping box was on its side and, due to gravity, the cake fell down to its bottom, which was actually the short side of the cake pan, and set that way. It most definitely is not giftable or even servable if you care how it looks. If you just want cake, it's definitely okay, but not fantastic. It is rich in texture and moist, though, but isn't as rich in flavor. I wouldn't buy again.

This was a strong we flavored whiskey cake. I love whiskey but the chocolate I couldn’t taste. And so basically it felt like eating solid whiskey. The cake was really small maybe 3 to 4 pieces but they would all be small compared to most desserts. I wouldn’t recommend it. On the other hand I would recommend the orange cake and the cappuccino cake.

At first it seemed to have a very light lemon flavor but the after-taste lended a great very lemony kind of sweet fruit taste. Hard to explain but almost like a sugary lemon rind flavor. Really like this cake especially topped with fresh banana and whipped cream.

Tasty & Delicious but unfortunately gone. I'd like to see it back.

I did not expect this cake to be as strong as it was.. You taste the Jack Daniels so strong I literally had to put frosting on it.. So if you're in the mood for chocolate and a shot at some jack this cake is a must buy. It's a great gift for somebody who loves Jack Daniels. Didn't care for the high price shipping fee when I finally realized 2 days later that the public's near my house sells it for the same price All in all at the end of the day it's a good cake.

I thought the cake was dry and not much flavor. Thou whisky smell and vaguely tasted. Use to buy these cakes in stores years ago and they were very moist and full of flavor. Won't ever buy this brand again.
