Receiving these pouches, it wasn't apparent if the pouches should be opened and spread the contents around the area or if just simply placing the whole pouches as is into the spot trying to deter chipmunks to stay away from was the correct way to use them? Also, as other reviews indicate, the scent is VERY strong, enough that my neighbors have been smelling it - garlic like! I've used these and another product together. I haven't seen much chipmunk activity in the area where I applied the product. A few feet away I did see some new digging of holes though so I'm not sure if these in fact work successfully yet or not.

As I look out my kitchen window into back yard I see no signs of the adolescent squirrels resting and moving around after strategic placement of the naturally odiferous balls! Next to hiring pest control or using poison this product is great for temporary squirrel abatement. Hopefully over time the squirrels will move on to another area to dig a den and live.

Seemed to work. Leafs on roses plants started growing back.

I put the product closely to the plants the deers love the most, and they are growing freely!!!

I still have chipmunks burrowing under tomato plants. It's a extremely dry spring in MI.If you like the smell of garlic it's potentGarden is close to the house and filters though the house. It's a pizzarea inside although I have'nt seen any Vampires!

Took a chance on them and they work! Shrubs were getting eaten by deer, hung these balls on the shrubs and they’re growing well again !Ordering more NOW !
