2 x 250mm Extra Large Storage Wall Hooks 40kg Galvanised Steel, Ladders & Tools

Bought these hooks to tidy up a pile of clamps that have been kicking around in my garage for ages. Simply screwed the hook to the wall and pinched the clamps onto to the horizontal leg, so now I don't have to go hunting around the next time I need to use one.The surface finish is galvanised, and looks to be well applied - no evidence of thin coating, bubbling or rust showing through due to inadequate surface preparation. The fixing holes are cleanly punched and are slightly indented, allowing a countersunk screw head to sit securely and almost flush to the hook surface.Unlike other reviewers, I don't have a problem with their being a lack of fixings supplied with the hooks. How would you expect the manufacturer or supplier to know what surface the hooks are going to be fixed to, and provide a universal fixing suitable for every possible case? Personally, I'd sooner choose a fixing appropriate to the surface that I'm going to attach to. I seldom use such manufacturer-supplied fixings, as they are generally of the poorest quality imaginable, and either the screw shears or the wall plug in not suitable for the surface.Having fitted these hooks, I was so impressed that I bought a set of the smaller version to hang a seldom-used roof-rack from the garage roof beams, and found the product equally sturdy and easy to use.In summary; I am very happy with the product and would have no issue in recommending it to others.

Perfect for hanging ladders.. however also ideal for storing long lengths of timber off the floor

I bought these to hang some trade standard double extension ladders from the walls of my garage and I've been very impressed at how strong and well manufactured they are, given the weight of my ladders.Can highly recommend and I'm sure they'd be strong enough and suitable for hanging many other items as well.

Perfect to use in my shed to hang some of my tools including stepladder.

Have used this product before to store a small ladder with good results. Very sturdy,easy to fit and good value for money.

I wasn’t happy with the finish of the steel. The advert showed bit was polished but it was very dull and untreated, we didn’t use them in the end.

Purchased for use in garage gym and using these for barbells - 20 kg across 2 on each wall . Works very well . Weight bearing more a factor of wall and screw depth I would imagine but in a garage with poor walls and not overly long screws used these are holding up fine .

Bought 3 pair to hook ladders. This item is smaller than expected. My fault here for not converting mm to inches. The internal width is just under 3 3/4"....too small to hook a ladder on it comfortably. The tubing is roughly 1/2" square. BTW 60kg = 132 lbs. the claimed max load limit for each. It was suspicious that each hook came with a label attached where the number showing the load limit was purposefully scratched out on each. FYI, these ship from the UK so if you don't like (my case) you are stuck w/ overseas return. I am not convinced these are in fact galvanized but that would be for a later review after giving them the "rust" test.

awesome quality. Wish stores like HomeDepot will carry them. Super sturdy!
