This is an excellent product, greens up the grass and thickens it also and has just the right amount of nutrimrnts.

Good value. Easy to use and a noticeable difference to the lawn within days of application.

All good and did green up but the actual product I’d quite big and struggled to get through my feed spreader

Being a scientist, I tested this out by using it on half of my garden and not the other half. What a difference. I reckon across three months that I cut 3 weeks of growing time from the fertilised half, and got more blooms and height from them too. A warning that there's a strong ammonia smell and that if you don't wear gloves, it can burn your hand! The ammonia brought cats into the garden annoyingly, so I then had to prevent that, but at least the plants looked nice. Great product. Will get again.

The manufacturers have thought about this, clearly saying on the bag the granule size of 1 to 2.5 mm. This small size of granules means that if you use a hand spreader the fine granules come out really evenly. If you use an ordinary 'growmore' type fertiliser you are likely to find the granules are a bit bigger, and they sort of get stuck. I have a Miracle Gro hand spreader which was my first ever purchase of feed for my lawn. It holds 5kg but is so much easier to use if only half-full maximum. Going over the lawn not trying to be too clever, just a fine cover of granules not more than a meter wide I find I can be very frugal, to the point of having some left (but knowing I need to apply this amount to satisfy the dosage suggestion). I then spread the remaining third in the other direction (at right angles to my first up-and-down the lawn), for a super even spread.

Not to sure. I would have to tray again. It does look greener and thicker the grass
