for the price this thing is amazing. works fantastic for a work laptop. i had mine tucked behind my monitor on my desk i worked hybrid and it was so good for just sliding the laptop plugging in the dock port which was one plug and getting to work. made the space look professional and clean too as if i had a full set up but it was not. highly recommend if you care about comfort and how your space looks

In the overall is a very good product, and serve my needs. Pros: - Good height and rugged bottom that it won't move from place easily; - Flexibility: Works with almost any laptop (does not require to be MAC); - Quality: Very sturdy and very well made; - Bring a tool for adjusting the thickness. Cons (to be perfect): - Making laptop to be hold in the center is somewhat of a challenge but doable. One final note, not exactly to this product but generally: This product brought two hex keys that is great but there a lot of products that do the same but what should we do the ones that already have (bought or come with other products). it seems a waste to through it out...

Dock holds my MacBook Pro (2018) well and fits even with a hardshell case since it is adjustable. It comes with a tool to adjust it and is quite easy to do. It has quite a bit a weight to it and has padding were the laptop sits which ensures me that it will stand sturdy. Great product.

I love it. However I do note I don’t like the scratching noises I hear every so often I haven’t had it long enough to see if it leave scratching

Initially I wanted the Twelve South BookArc for my MacBook Pro to stand vertically on my recently trimmed down 'minimalist' desk space. Read a few reviews about sizing issues with the inserts if you have a skin. I have a skin on my MBP that is thicker than usual to absorb impact and decided against a stand with pre-sized inserts. Found this little wonder and couldn't be happier; skin, no skin, MacBook Pro 13", MacBook Pro 15", Air, Win laptop, Chromebook - doesn't matter. This stand has 4 adjustable allen head bolts and they not only give you 1 but 2 wrenches so you don't have to run out to the garage to rummage through your tool chest to find the correct size. I unboxed and made two adjustments in under a minute and my 2018 13" MacBook Pro was standing at attention on my desktop without tipping to either side. Stable and vertical. The stand is very aesthetically pleasing as well. I still like the design of the Twelve South too, but for good looks and more adjust-ability for whatever device you need it for at HALF the price - 100% satisfied and would purchase again without hesitation. Solid construction and anti-slip base makes this a perfect solution for me.

This was exactly what I needed. Small. Sturdy. Heavy. Gave a 4 star for potability, mainly because to collapse it, requires disassembly. Finish is flawless & low profile. Fits my 17" gaming laptop w/ cooling pad with plenty of room to spare. So it can accommodate bigger items as well possibly even gaming consoles. The only gripe I got is the ad pictures showing poor orientation of the laptop. Although, I've graduated out of my MBP... I know the vents are near the hinges, therefore hinges should go up. Heat rises. Keep this in mind when proping up your laptop to save space. Your device will thank you! And you won't be trapping heat towards battery and drive bays.

I have a dell laptop for work and a surface pro for personal use. They were both taking up so much room on my desk laying flat, so I turned to Amazon. Thats when I came across this gem!! I first bought one for my surface pro to see if it would work out. I didnt even have to adjust the width of the stand - the surface fit perfectly in! I then placed the surface behind my monitor and connected it to an hdmi switch I have. It fits perfect behind my monitor and hardly takes up any room at all. Ill be doing the same to my work laptop now to free up more space. The stand is also pretty heavy; its also got a rubber feel which will definitely hold the laptop in place. I highly recommend this stand!
