Fantastic Harmony replacement
I've used dozens of Harmony remotes over 20+ years and Logitech pretty much had the market cornered. Their withdrawal made me concerned that I would not be able to find a suitable replacement.Physical numeric buttons are very important to me due to using these to type with on-screen keyboards and for quickly jumping through lists (pressing 2 twice to jump to a list starting with B for example). The Harmony Elite and the Sofabaton X1 are of no use to me due to not having physical numeric buttons, (virtual numeric buttons on a touchscreen is just not comfortable or speedy enough for quick access)I initially tried the Sofabaton U1 but found the infrared range to be very problematic and the number buttons too small. I gave the U2 a try due to the infrared changes and increased size of the number buttons and I was relieved to discover that there was indeed a HUGE improvement. The app is very efficient and makes wirelessly programming the remote a breeze compared to Logitech's terribly clunky software. Due to the ease of the Sofabaton app you're able to add commands from the comfort of the sofa if and when you need to make any changes. The database contained the majority of my devices and the couple of commands I needed that were not available I just added manually with the learning command which worked perfectly. The U2 is now nigh on perfect for my needs (backlit buttons would be a welcome addition but not a deal breaker) and I've now purchased 6x of these for various rooms around the house and I'm thinking of purchasing more to keep as spares.Bravo and please keep your products alive for the foreseeable (and please don't remove physical numeric buttons!). :)

Sofabaton U2 - almost there...
The Sofabaton U2 is a significant step up from basic universal remotes, offering advanced features and a sleek design. However, it doesn't quite reach the level of sophistication and comprehensive control offered by the legendary Logitech Harmony One.* Pros:* Modern Design: Sleek and intuitive interface with a touchscreen.* Advanced Features: Supports IR, RF, and Bluetooth, controlling a wide range of devices.* Voice Control: Integrated with Alexa, Google Assistant, and more.* Good Device Support: Large and growing device database.* User-Friendly: Relatively easy to set up and use.* Cons:* Limited Deep Integration: While improving, doesn't match the Harmony One's level of deep device integration and complex activity control.* Database Not as Extensive: While comprehensive, may not cover every niche device like the Harmony database. Conclusion:The Sofabaton U2 is a promising contender in the universal remote market, offering a compelling alternative for many users. However, the Logitech Harmony One remains the benchmark for comprehensive home theater control, despite its discontinuation.Looking Forward:I eagerly anticipate future Sofabaton models that can fully surpass the Harmony One, offering similar levels of deep integration and device support while incorporating the latest technologies.Note: This review reflects the current state of the market. Sofabaton may continue to improve its software and database, potentially closing the gap with the Harmony One in the future.

Bluetooth so it works with Fire TV and the app makes setup very easy
I was wary about buying this seeing as there were quite a few negative reviews and at the time of writing this, the overall score out of 5 was only 3.7So far I can only report that my experience has been positive on purchasing it.It looks and feels great and has a nice clear display where you can even change the icons. My DVD player is represented by a disc whilst my Fire TV device even has the Amazon smile. Nice touch. The buttons are nice, clicky and responsive. However, I've noted that there are some negs about them so to be on the safe side I opted to throw in an extra fiver to extend the warranty to 3 years, just in case they do fail over time. I'll update this review if this really is the case. You have complete control over the buttons with the app, even mixing IR and Bluetooth buttons together on the same device. Macros can be added which work perfectly, too.A couple of minor criticisms then...The sensor that it is being picked up for use is hugely over sensitive. Compared to a One For All I had years ago, for instance, which lit up and was ready for use on being picked up, the SofaBaton U2 responds to the tiniest nudge, so if, for example, you usually have your remote on the cushion next to you, this one will light up with every little movement you make, every shift in position. The downside is that the batteries will run out quicker than they should. It does work with the Amazon Fire TV Stick but sadly it doesn't include the Guide or Stop buttons. Yes, I can do without the Guide seeing as it's not much cop (at the time of writing) and of course we all know that one can press Back instead of Stop, but it's difficult to see how it could have been overlooked and by now surely they could have updated it.Lastly, sometimes Amazon Fire TV won't respond to your key press and you have to press it again. These minor gripes we can live with seeing as SofaBaton is the only real current solution at the moment, for those of us that still want all our devices operable from one remote control. To summarise, it's a good solution and well worth buying, but do add the 5 quid just in case.
