Works great on the cheap!

They are ok.
These seem well made and fit good but I ended up not liking how it looked on my bike so took them off. Might try them again later. They woork good as far as sliding up and down though.

Does the job of raising the windshield. Stock thumbnuts vibrated off. Scratched puig windscreen
I wound up combining this item with the puig touring windscreen as I am very tall and have a long torso, so no matter what I do buffeting/dirty air hits the top of my helmet making my head shake around. The stock thumbnuts vibrated off allowing my windscreen to fall off on the freeway (but I caught it!!). I also found that raising/lowering the brackets with my puig windscreen was allowing the brackets to scratch the inside of the windshield. I ordered small nylon washers, 5mm aluminum spacers, and m5 wingnuts and reassembled with the extra few mm of space afforded by the spacers and the windscreen no longer makes contact with the brackets. The wingnuts are also much easier to adjust while wearing gloves. The bracket does not slide smoothly, as the fasteners are simply bolts with the heads ground down to fit in the channel of the bracket - I cut down and added a nylon washer between the head of the bolt and the inside of the bracket and the entire affair moves more easily now with no metal on metal grinding.

kinda fiddly to install
One of the fancy lock nuts was stripped, so I went to ACE and picked up some wing nuts and they worked just fine.

Works
Works well enough, reasonably priced compared to name brand units.

Works very well with a thin plexiglass added to deflect the wind above the headlights
