REEF Phantom Nias Men's Beach Flip Flop, Lightweight & Soft and Supportive Molded Footbed

These are my fourth pair of REEFS flip flops. I think they are one of the top flip flop brands out there. I've been wearing them since the 1990's when my wife introduced me to them. I'm loyal to a good brand, and this is a great brand!They are comfortable and very well made. I especially like how supportive they are for a flip flop - a sign of a higher end flip flop. These are NOT the flip flops you get on vacation for $8.00 while on a tropical vacation at a tourist shop.Unlike my recent purchase of Cobian flip flops (another brand I've purchased a few times before) these ARE comfortable enough to wear all day.I'm pretty sure I will be a REEFS customer for life.The Bottom Line?Uncle Steve Approved!

Very comfortable right out of the box.

Once you find something so good, there's just no point in looking for something better. That's the case with my Reef flip flops. No doubt there are less expensive options, but I wear these nearly 365 days of the year as my primary footwear and they remain totally comfortable. The sandal runs mostly true to size, but if you're on the edge of one size and the next up, definitely order the size up. But know that when you first get these, the strap that runs over the top of your foot is VERY TIGHT. For a few days I have to press my toes against the wall as I wriggle my foot into place. But after 3-4 days, the strap loosens up and it's easier to get my foot in. It probably takes about two weeks before I can just quickly step into the sandal without having to work my feet in. Though it will now be a year if not two before I wear out this pair of sandals, I will most definitely be ordering Reefs as the replacement!

....so Reef has been my go to brand when I need flops. These are really good and they have a sleek style that I like. The foot bed is molded and firm, they are lightweight and great for hard surface or sand. The reason I gave them four stars instead of five is on smooth surfaces they are slippery, if the surface is smooth and wet they are like ice skates for you have to watch your step. I have only slipped once on a pool deck that was super smooth cement...I didn't fall down but it really woke me up.... I guess any shoe or flip flop can slip and slide on smooth surfaces but this was the first Flop that did it to me. I love these Reefs but I do watch out for smooth surfaces when I wear them..

They fit perfect, have a cushy sole that only starts to wear on my feet after I’ve walked more than 10 miles in a day, they’ve gotten completely soaked and dried off fine with no issues countless times, and they were a great price at just $30 on sale. Can’t be beat

Bought these for my very picky boyfriend as a gift. He absolutely loves them. Great fit, very comfortable.
