Faced issues initially, the replacement received from manufacturer is working great.
This is the worst hdd enclosure available on Amazon.First of all, the supplied USB-C cable is not working. Although cables looks new, it doesn't work. That cable can't even be used with a powerbank as a charging cable.The product description shows at 6 Gbps USB 3.1 type C, but in reality, it was not recognized by the PC with USB 3.0 or higher ports. It only works on USB 2.0 ports. I tried checking on multiple computers. None of the computers recognized this on USB 3.0 or higher port. Data transfer rate is so slow that I doubt does it even support USB 2.0 speeds.Conclusion is "DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT". Buy only if you have a "SPARE USB-C CABLE" and you have "USB 2.0 PORTS" available on your computer.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE.Edit:I have contacted the support using details given on the contact card supplied along with the product. Support from the manufacturer is excellent. They just reviewed the details and sent me a brand new product, the enclosure and the USB cable are working perfectly. I review my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. -1 star for amazon for supplying faulty products without checking them.
