Third Edition | Science and History Collection | 29 Specimens

I absolutely am in love with the concept of this mini museum, it combines rare items, collectability, history and culture, and makes it into artwork. It is small but thats why its called "mini" however i love using my lighted jewelers loop and seeing the details pop out on the specimens. Also reading up on the items in the book really gives you the feel of the type of learning you would get from the placard a a museum and even gives detailed info about the particular specimen as well. I am so in love with it i picked up the second edition on ebay and just waiting for the first edition to pop back up so i have the complete collection. Oh one more thing, since these are limited and so valuable the value of the collection rises with each passing year so they make wonderful investments.

I got this as a gift for a friend.It was smaller than I expected, but an immensely high quality mounting, and attractive display. Less something I' would've placed on a mantel or on the wall, but rather something for the corner of a bookcase or deck.Lovely gift for anyone who likes history, or the unusual.

While it is very cool to have all these artifacts in a neat, clear block, the accompanying book is pathetic. it is 2x2 inches and for all purposes, unreadable. For nearly $300.00 they could have made a large format booklet.While I had hoped the family would have spent the time to read and explore about each artifact, they quickly lost interest, and now I fear it will now be ignored. A great lost opportunity to spread knowledge and wonder.

I really like this company and have purchased various cool things. I would recommend staying away from The Death of the Dinosaurs dust. I got it for Christmas and I was so disappointed. I understand that's it's a rare sample but come on... I barely received dust. The sample was so small ill find a better sources next time.
