If your HP is the same or a little more you can definitely use this motor. Shaft length may be a lil different and require cutting And the new motor is reversable too 👍👍

Q: Is the shaft diameter and shaft length the same as a ge 5kcp39gfs166s that is in my carrier condenser? will it be a perfect fit?

The shaft diameter should be spot on. And the fan blade has a set screw to lock it in place. However the new shaft could be a little long for your application. May require a few inches cut off. No big deal - takes 30 seconds and ur good to go. Motor is reversable too.

Q: The fan motor mathces mine. my capacitor has 4 prongs. will this still work by leaving my capacitor?

I’m not sure. I ended up buying a new capacitor that matched the original.
