Life Skills Every 9 Year Old Should Know

Purchased this for my 9 yo grandson. The book is written in a non-threatening manner and is an easy read. I felt this book would be a good one for my grandson to read on his own but also a book he can read and discuss particularly with his dad (parents are divorced) but content appropriate for discussion with mom and siblings. Not specific to boys or girls but a great way to educate on and reinforce life skills. Highly recommend.

I had my son read this book over winter break and he learned quite a bit of stuff from it. Every time he finished a chapter he would tell me at least two things he learned from the book. Definitely recommend this book to anyone with a 9 year old

The kid liked reading it with his dad. Something special to him, as he loves reading with dad and he loves his facts.

Literal life skills. Who and why to safe money, how to apologized, who to treat a wound. love it!!!!

I really enjoy these books. They're fun ways to help kids look at the world around them and make the best of it. I wish there were more resources like this for parents and kids because they're really, so helpful for kids. This one dealt with some more complicated topics than the book for eight year olds did, as it should. I especially liked the chapters on staying safe on the internet, how to apologize, and the chapter on secrets, but again, I thought all the chapters held great information. Really well done. I will absolutely recommend.
