The overall concept is innovative. However, not all adult cats will be ok confined to such a small space. My baby boy Storm felt trapped, trying to find his way out. I, myself, am claustrophobic and he probably felt the same way. I let him out when I realized the backpack feature was not going to work for him. It may be ok if you begin use when they are kittens and can become acclimated. The zippers work fine. It can serve as a regular carrier when expanded. There is an opening to the expansion itself so it makes it easier for the cat or very small dog to walk in from behind. However, I have found it easier to put him in by unzipping the bubble. Using the expansion entrance is tricky because while you're trying to zipper it shut, he's trying to get out! I will be using this as an extra carrier for car trips so he can see out. Also, it helps to have an extra carrier while traveling in case he gets sick and throws up or does the other thing. I am giving it 5 stars because it is well-made, as roomy as his regular carrier, he can stand up and lay down comfortably, room for a small food dish. Just because the backpack feature did not work for my cat, it may work fine for others....it depends on the pet.

I love this carrier. First of all, I like the concept that it looks like a big space helmet. Secondly, my cat was very calm as she had the ability to view out the front windshield. No restricted viewing makes a huge difference. It is a sturdy backpack as well

Comfortable for our cat, she laid right down. She also goes in it freely. Comfortable to wear. Storage for her leash, plenty of ventilation for fresh air.

This is a keeper. We have 3 cats and 1 dog who fit in it comfortably. All three were intrigued. The dog went in and curled up. The torty cat went in through the opening, turned around and looked around. The other two cats poked their heads and shoulders in but saved full exploration for another day. There is a strong off gassing smell so I will let it air out. Overall it is sturdy, big enough to transport any of our cats who are 13 pounds or less and our cavoodle who is 11 pounds. It seems to be a good value for the money. If the smell doesn't dissipate then I eont use it on them.... but if the smell neutralizes I we ill feel happy to use it.

Love these backpacks. The extra storage is great. Multiple ways for cats to get in and out. My 8 pound cats can curl up in it nicely, it’s very lightweight and there’s several features to make sure cats don’t escape. Cleanup is easy since it can easily be wiped down. Straps seem built well and will hold up over time. Would definitely recommend.

We used it today for the first time and it was made very well plenty of ventilation. I purchased the grey. It was perfect for kitty . The only negative is the padding that the cat sits on its not much padding at all but that’s very minimal I just used something I had and put it in there for him. But overall I was very happy
