Q: Would this work on a barbie scale? Or is it too small?

I wish I could give you a correct answer. I don't have access to a Barbie doll, but I don't think it would be too small. Barbie dolls are 1/6 scale. Good luck. It's a cute little violin, pretty detailed.

Q: What is the length of the bow for each size cello?

I was unaware that there was more than one size. The little cello I bought is 4 inches and the bow is 3 1/2 inches.

Q: Is the 5.51 inch cello big enough for Barbie ?

I think it would work very well for a Barbie. I do not feel size acuracy is that important for a doll, but it would be close to acurate!

Maybe it was just to much to make a tiny bow in the right proportions. Or maybe whomever made it thought having it a little bigger would make it less likely to get lost. I really don't know why the decision was made but it is a cute little cello no matter the reason. :)
