These bits work flawlessly.

follow the directions and use water to lubricate the bits as you cut through the tile. Worked like a charm. I used these to drill holes to install grab bars.

For the price these things are remarkable. A pro tip... use the pointed 1/4" bit first for any size hole then work your way up with the others to the size you need. I got lucky and hit a hardy board screw on my first hole. (I hate being lucky. It goes both ways.) Snapped the 1/4 spade tip right off. Not the fault of the product. Ordering another kit. I was still able to do the tilt start way for the other hole but it eats thru these cheaper bits pretty fast. I was able to get 7 holes and the 3/8 is pretty much done for, even keeping it cool. Then again I could have ordered a real set at work for $100 and it would still be a good bit. That's why I say for the price these things are awesome for home owner remodels. Your just not going to use it enough to buy an expensive set.I was drilling ceramic tile.I'll be reviewing this for the second set once I drill thru some granite tile. That will be a real test. Honestly I don't think they will handle something that hard but I'm about to find out.

I drill a lot of holes in clay pots for my orchids, and these drill though clay pots, even thick ones, in the shortest time I have ever seen! They have nice graduated sizes so you can use the small pointy but to get started, then use teach successively larger size bit to get the size hole you want! Great drill bits!

Love these! Gets the job done with glass and g porcelain so hard to drill cleanly without the plate shattering!

I bought these because the ceramic pot I bought, although very beautiful, had no drainage holes. So after reading up on what drill bits were best for drilling into ceramic without damaging it, I went ahead and bought this set. It worked perfectly! And now my plants aren't dying of root rot haha! Such a great little investment.

I'm sure they will cut a hole but for the purpose I'm using them for I was hoping they had the chip removal slot. If you're purchasing for that reason they do not

Used them to cut porcelain plates and worked much better than the carbide tipped drills I used previously.
