Char-Broil 540 Charcoal Tabletop Grill

I typically use a propane grill during the work week in order to cook quicker. But when I have time to use charcoal, the taste is 10x better. This grill is compact, easy to clean, and does a good job cooking. Now, I wouldn't recommend using this if this was the only grill you have and if you plan on grilling a lot of food items at one time. I can fit 2 steaks on this pretty easily, but if you wanted to put any asparagus or potatoes, it does get tight. But for me, it is okay because I'll just put the potato in the oven or grill the asparagus on the propane grill. I'm a family of 2 and this is exactly what I wanted.

I got this table top grill for storing and charging my radio control Li-Po batteries in, and it works perfectly! (As you may know, Li-Po batteries can sometimes explode and cause fires, but not in this container). Would be great for cooking a few burgers and hot dogs on too! Simple but well made - highly recommended!

Grill came with several dents and scratches, works ok and meet my needs for a table top grill. Rather expensive for what it is.

This is a good, solid, small grill ample for small families or a couple. Portability is nice and the grill can be brought indoors after cool down to protect it from weather. Many reviews indicated that the grilling surface can easily become dislodged and tilt causing food to fall into the coals. This is true but can be easily remedied by using binder clips on each side of the grill to hold the grate firm.

Love this grill! Does a great job with minimal effort. I ❤️ Charcoal and I ❤️BBQ . I always use my big Weber to grill. my co- worker alerted me to the smaller grills for just doing dinner and I love it! My husband put it together with no problem and we were ready to go. I always look forward to using it, it's so easy and requires a small amount of charcoal compared to the other sizes. Let 'em eat!

Fantastic for small meals. Great for beef. Chicken 3 ppl or less. You can't do a small bird on it. I do three bone in split breast. On a direct cook I did 8 burgers no prob. 6 NY strips another time. It's BA. I'm replacing this one with this one. Stay turned for the timeline.

This little grill seemed perfect for what I needed. It assembled fairly easily. It has 2 major problems: the first is that the airflow is terrible. I lit the grill and after the fire burned down and the coals were red, I place the lid on it with both the top and bottom vent open. Within 5 minutes the coals had almost died so I removed the ash catcher and it worked better. By the way, the ash catcher is very flimsy, Second is the top grate easily slides out of the slot and will dump the food in the fire. At one time Charbroil was a good brand, but now it is garbage. Please do not buy.

Love this little thing, I use it almost every night and it's holding up well. For a little BBQ it can still put out some fire thanks to a good depth on the pit which is a big plus.
