Earth Noise when using with AKG C520 L
Really hoped this would help me use my headset with wired setups (as well as wireless) but whenever I do, I get earth hum regardless of mixer or location/setting. A real shame.

Handy little item for my "miscellaneous tools" box. I use this on a headset that came with a wireless system. For practice, I just undo the headset from the transmitter and plug into this adapter and then into the board/mixer for phantom power. A little expensive BUT it beats the old battery power packs I have used in the past.

Converts mini XLR mics to standard XLR cables. If you AKG mics, lavs, headsets, etc that you use with wireless systems, this lets you use them wired as well. Shipping was great. I'm a sound engineer. I needed it for a Saturday event. At 4:50 pm on Thursday I ordered it and paid extra for Sat. Delivery. It arrived 11am Friday! About 18 hours To get it to me!

High quality, well made, and, yes, worth the price. I was a little intimidated by the price, because, honestly, we go through a lot of cables and adapters, but it's really worth it.
