They works. I like the red strings so for me this is much better than wound which seems to be the standard, or thick fluorocarbon, which tends to be too low tension.

Great sounding set of strings on my Kala 8 string electro-acoustic ukulele. Can’t say they were easy to fit because I got a professional to string my uke the way it should be strung. The ‘red’ low G is much robust than other makes of low G string, even Aquila’s own ordinary nylgut strings, so the ‘red’s’ inclusion in the string set is fully justified. With 2 years experience of using these strings on my uke, they are definitely the ones to have

The low G wound string snapped before tuning to the correct pitch. I had to buy another one to replace it.

Unfortunately the red string (low g) broke after only 1 play. So had to buy a separate wound g string to replace it

Very nice strings, will buy more from this company.

Servicable but not brilliant.

Far superior to what was supplied on my Luna 8 string Uke
