Does exactly what it's designed to do. I like the tray that it sits in, but realistically it's more for organization than transport because once filled, there's no way you'll be able to transport it as a set of four.

Purchased for my boyfriend for Christmas. I had purchased him one just like this with the larger compartments and several with the smaller compartments and he loves them all. They are great for stacking and saving space and having the ability to remove just one container and use it on it's own offers great flexibility for usage.

Just be aware that the dimensions listed are for the exterior. These are not .30 cal size boxes. That said you can put a lot of ammo in each. (1000 9mm, 100 12gauge, a little over 500 7.62, and and a little over 556/223). Full they are sturdy and don't bow.I also use these for non ammo purposes. Great little cases stackable and the tray to keep them together is nice.If you live close to a Costco, these are $19.99 but they sell out very fast.
