Q: Do these contain artificial ingredients, flavoring or fragrance? What about salt?

No with exceptionof salt. The other flavors have dye for color however I believe the mealworms version had no dyes.

Q: Do these mineral blocks come with an attachment for the cage? and are they made in the usa?

Yes to both. It says made in the USA in the bottom right corner on the back of the package and a twist tie is directly behind the block but unable to see until opened. Hope this helps.

ingredients doesn't say it has iodine in it

Q: Did it take long for your bird to notice it?

well, I have 25 - 30 birds. The brave one found it immediately, and the rest followed.
