Worth every penny. Roses love it!
Ok so never used before and was doubtful of the theory or my capabilities. But this worked a treat. Who knew! Cannot fathom how I haven’t tried this before. I have snipped stems from all my favourite roses, just below leaf growth, a wet the ends and covered either this magic powder, and just like that I have 25 new roses already shooting. Never had that success rate before. Impressed and thankful.

Not ideal
The jury is out on this one. I bought it to try and help root some cuttings of roses. It'll be many many weeks before I know if it's worked or not, but the container isn't secure. It arrived open with the contents spilled in the package because it isn't sealed in any way so I'd avoid buying this one by post where possible.

Tried and tested rooting powder…
This general purpose rooting powder for plant cuttings is something I have used before and found effective. It is very easy to use and the lid is also a dibber so helps you to plant out your cuttings. The price is good. You only use as much as is taken by the end of the cutting dipped and tapped off. A small pot does last ages. Very happy and will always buy this brand of rooting powder.

So far so good
This rooting powder seems long lasting for the price, it’s easy to use and plants seem to like it even though it’s early days but so far so good. I think it functions well as a feed and only needs a little sprinkle. I’m using it to try and save some lucky bamboo I had sent to me that was in a bad way, I’m hoping this will give the stems good roots. It’s easy to use and has no smell.

Impressed and will keep using
Never used rooting powder before so didn't really know what to expect. I have to say I'm impressed. Took lots of cuttings from a few bunches of flowers (roses, chrysanthemums and carnations) and tried some just in water, some in soil, and some in soil after being dipped in this. You only need a tiny amount, just dip the cut end in water, then dip in rooting powder and tap off the excess, then plant in soil. The ones in water are fine but yet to develop roots after 2 weeks. The ones in soil are fine but no new growth yet. The ones in soil and dipped in rooting powder are already showing new growth, and seem to be doing better, faster than the others. So far it seems to be making a difference, so will definitely keep using. The only negative is the smell is quite strong, it smells a little acrid, like strong vinegar or acetone or something like that. So put the lid back on pronto if you don't want a whiff of that!
