Q: Should the tube have a seal under the cap or not? Don’t want to use if it’s been tampered with. Thanks :)

Just checked my spare tube & the answer is no, or rather I can't be certain unless there was one. It's a long time since payments were demanded in the 70s for spiked products in all sorts of products which is one of the reasons why pop-top seals, sealed packets & tube seals were implemented. The other reason of course is to help keep the product fresh, especially as we have preservatives in our food now. From memory, none of the dozens of tubes I've opened ever had a foil seal but again that doesn't mean that the underworld of cats demanding ransoms of fresh mice in infeasibly enormous quantities & regularity from dogs isn't actually afoot. This product works & works well, the effort required is very little & the benefit is exponential. As I'm sure you love your dog, take the plunge & test it on yourself unless a demand for payment due to adulteration comes in the mail or news report in the next week or so. Hope this helps!

I.think it is one of the old style soft, pliable metal tubes. It has a recyclable symbol on it.

Q: My dog hates having his teeth brushed so have got one of the chews that you put toothpaste in as an alternative. Can this be used in conjunction with.

I believe that enzymatic toothpaste is an effective product. I have only used it on a brush. With a very patient approach and rewards you should be able to train your hound to accept a DOGS toothbrush (very soft by human standards) however its consistency is similar to human toothpaste and it can be used as you suggest I imagine.
