I must start by saying Delicious 😋 Well Packaged in a box that is sealed with plastic wrap and has Wax Paper Separating each layer in the box. The Value for your Money is definitely a 10/10. I broke down and splurged this month by ordering this 5 lb box because it made more sense to spend $33 on 5 lbs over $16 for 1 lb. I Love this old time Fruit Slice Candy. Slices are the size of a lemon or orange slice. Size is perfect, not too small and not humongously big. Bright colors of each slice. Oh these are highly Addictive, they taste so good. Great for everyone. Especially if you're 420 Friendly like myself then these are a need for those late night Munchies. My Aunt and Mom came home with some of these from Mackinak Island and I just had to find them online. Definitely did not disappoint with this purchase. I wouldn't say it's sticky unless you take it out your mouth. I will be coming back to your listing once this box is gone. Highly Recommend 100/10.

A delightful jelly snack that's the same as it has been for over 50 years. Sugary texture throughout, but not too sweet. Comes in a variety of pleasing candy color combinations, which are just terrific

Product quality is always good. Variety of flavors was not as well balanced this time as others, but was not a significant problem.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend these; they're just not that good. If I were the seller, I would start the listing by saying they're a box of "oppies," and if they aren't, that would be very telling. The uniformity in shape, size, and even overall thickness is very off, the rind portion is super thick on some and very thin on others. I ordered these mid-October, so they didn't melt in the shipping, making them not sticky at all. As for the taste, that's where they really missed the mark. Every flavor has a very artificial, fake taste. The citrus flavors (lime, lemon, lemon-lime, orange, key lime) all have an almost chemical-like bug spray aftertaste. They come in a large cardboard box, with sheets of what feels like wax paper in between each layer, and the box is sealed with a clear sticker. Not in a bag, or wrapped in plastic at all, no real protective layer. Honestly I expected there to be bugs in it, if shipped by itself and not in another box I would bet money there will be bugs by the time you get it. All in all, compared to a candy store that sells chocolates, fudge, gourmet apples, and these jelly fruit slices. This product was an absolute FAIL!!!! Flavor, shape, size —all of it was a miss. No wonder they were so cheap compared to what I purchased in the store.

I bought these just to munch, and I was very excited about the variety that was listed since other brands have just 4-5 kinds. The assortment was not as much as I've hoped. I have not had any of the black cherry, grape, strawberry banana, peach, lemon lime, pink grapefruit, or blue raspberry. I had a few different kinds: a purple with a blue rind (blueberry) and all red with no rind (strawberry) and very few watermelon. I really wanted a larger variery, because that is what the description showed saying that it is assorted. I will say that I love the freshness and crispyness of the surgery edges and they are not sticky/gummy at all. The flavor was light and the smell of each was stronger than the taste but they were still great. I just wish the listing would change so the purchaser will know what they will get and wouldn't be let down by the variety.

In the 60's Sears had candy counters and fruit slices similar to these were offered. These flavors are slightly different, a bit jazzed up. with some two tones added. The great thing about the candy counters was that you could ask which candies were fresh. Well, these candies are incredibly fresh! I don't think that I have ever had candies as fresh as these that weren't bought from a candy counter in a store. And many "store-made" candies aren't as fresh as these. The only thing that could make them better was if they were made with cane sugar like in the old days. Addendum: I'm on my third order of these delicious fruit slices now. Each time there seem to be a few of a new flavor or two. I've thought that I might prefer getting single flavors but then I would miss out on the random new flavors. Each order has been amazingly fresh. If you haven't had fruit slice candy fresh you can't imagine the difference that makes.
