Phenomenal cologne. Honestly on its own this is a must have. Especially for value for money. It’s got a nice long smokey scent. Where it really shines is when mixed with absolute same brand. I use it as a layer to create a similar effect to a less intrusive creed aventus. 5/5 when used alone smells great. Goes above when layered with absolute.

Smell like alcohol! Disappointed

I’ve only smelled dupes of BR540 - and the top notes that were present in those are here as well except with a more masculine feeling, smoky twist. The dupes I’ve had smell great but I didn’t like wearing them personally - this one i love to wear confidently and the performance is great.

This is a sent I'd wear to a formal event. Or a casual party. It's powerful in the opening yet it is also light, to me. For me it only takes two sprays to fill a room. I go nose blind (anosmia) quickly to it for some reason but catch strong whiffs if I go back the way I came or if I enter/exit a vehicle. I love it as an open office scent but would not wear it in any confined spaces with someone who doesn't like strong scents. It's faint but lasts all day as a skin scent (at least I thought it did until 4 different people asked me did I have on BR 540 and they were each within 5 ft of me).

I bought this without really being aware of the brand, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! As someone who enjoys sweet smelling men's perfumes, this was a welcome addition to my collection. If I were to describe it, it smells very similar to a fragrance that I adored in my youth; Paco Robanne Black XS. 5/5 would recommend to everyone!
