They work very well, however, as a new ump, these indicators make the count counter intuitive. The count is said "balls-strikes" (eg. a "full count" is 3-2). Left to right, balls then strikes. And when signaling with the hands, your left shows the balls count and your right shows the strikes. Again, left to right. However, on these indicators, the strikes are on the left and the balls are on the right. It doesn't feel like a lot when you're just holding them in your home, but when you are out on the field with a ton of overflow flooding your brain, it's just another thing you *must* get right. In this case, it's completely avoidable to have to transpose the information from the indicator to my call to my hands, if they just flipped the wheels and the embossed letters on these indicators. I did see some others that have the balls on the left and the strikes on the right, but most of them are made as this one is made.

These pitch counters have worked out great, having two makes it extra easy for multiple people to verify the count.

Good for the price. Works good for our little league. A little cheap feeling but for the price can’t go wrong. Will buy again

Son needed one to ump little league games. Went for the two pack for value, came in handy as his buddy needed to borrow one.
