Lower temps and cleaner
I think it is expensive, but given the results is a good value for your money. It combined with a new side case panel have greatly improved the functionality by keeping the whole pc much more cooler. The ease of application was easy enough and if you get lost just grab your phone. You can find many videos of thermal pad installation online. My understanding is that thermal pads represent the best durability of any material available. The fit is perfect because you cut it yourself.

Better than putty and thermal paste
Wow I’m impressed dropped my laptops temperature from 95c to 70-80c on heavy gaming. Easy to use a bit Tedious to apply if you’re new. Size was great awesome for its price. Didn’t take a picture of the finish product but this is what was left !

Excellent. I dropped at least 10° c
Seems to be legit to me. I have a 7900 xtx GPU that I didn't like the thermals on. AMD cards are notorious for getting super hot. When benchmarking I was getting around 100° c which XFX says is OK but i don't like it at all. XFX told me if I wanted to reapply thermal compound myself I could use regular cpu thermal paste for my GPU or use PTM7950.I tried to reapply with paste using arctic mx 6 but I didn't see any improvements at all. I figured I'd give this stuff a try. I had no clue what it was but XFX recommended it and I saw other good things online about it so why not.I haven't reached 90° c since I switched. I honestly haven't seen it get over 86° c. So I've gotten at least a 10° c improvement if not more on my GPU. I will be using this stuff from here on out.I did struggle a little with application, getting the plastic off both sides was a pain but I see others saying put it in the freezer for a bit first so I'll give that a go next time. Overall I'd 100% recommend this stuff over standard thermal paste

Works Fine, Applying it is a Tedious Mess
I bought this because I have heard about its longevity and wanted to replace my old, drying thermal paste on my CPU. I heard people say to leave it in a fridge for a few hours (3-5 hours), to help stiffen the pad for when application came around. But even still, It came to room temperature after a few minutes, and would just become a frustrating tedious mess. There are plastic films on both sides of the pad you must remove, and if you aren't quick enough to remove them while they are still cold, it is not a fun experience. However, my temps have improved compared to my old paste, and I do not have to worry about second-guessing my thermal paste application.Overall, a fairly decent product as it keeps my temperatures in check, but if a quick application is what you need, you might want to look at something else.

Seems to be legitimate based on personal testing
Got this because the last time I ordered Honeywell PTM 7950 was from eBuy7 (not eBay) and I didn't want to bother with the shipping time. This thing does seem to be legit when I tested it on a Dell Precision 7550 (the CPU actually boosts to ~95W now) and a Thinkpad Z16 (temps seems to have improved somewhere between 3C and 5C on the CPU and GPU, and at full CPU synthetic loads the CPU will boost higher now)Compared to the one I bought from eBuy7 almost a year ago, it seems to have a bit more of a greenish tint instead of being dark gray. For those of you who don't know what this stuff is, it's phase change material and a substitute for thermal paste. Unlike thermal paste however it doesn't suffer as much from paste pump-out and dry-out, and despite worse conductivity on-paper, it performs very well in computers as a thermal paste upgrade, especially in laptops. In fact, Lenovo's newer Legion laptops (I think since 2022 if not 2021) use this stuff, which is the reason why you shouldn't repaste newer models of Legion laptops because paste will perform worse than this.As past experiences with this kind of stuff, application isn't the easiest, however this thing only has 2 layers of plastic film around it. The one I received seems to be legitimate, or at least it performs like it's legitimate. I'm in a special case where I need the extra 80x80mm, but for most people you probably should save some money though and get the smaller 80x40mm sheet, because you don't need an 80x80mm sheet. Is this stuff expensive? Yes, but it's really good, it should last longer than paste, and it performs better than paste. I honestly felt like I rediscovered repasting laptops back in the day when laptop OEMs used horrible thermal paste for laptops.
