Amazing, had purchased to travel it carried 6 carry on suitcases and an adult walker.

This roof setup is everything I’ve needed, thankfully. I just got done driving 3,500 miles with about 250lb of luggage on the roof (it says 150lb max).. I’ve went over 3 mountain passes with winds up to 70mph and thru a hail storm and the straps on this setup didn’t budge one bit. If you’ve never used a roof box, make sure you get one that has clips/snaps for the straps. I’ve used and returned 2 other brands of roof boxes because of their thin crappy straps and no way to secure the loose excess strap. This setup was well thought out, it clips in and then also has a backup strap holder (idk how to explain this , but there’s no loose dangling straps blowing in the wind. I did also use a separate ratchet strap (THAT CAME WITH THIS!!) on my roof just because I knew with the steepness of the mountain passes , if I lost one strap of the 4 for the roof box , my things would end up down the side of a cliff and I’d be out thousands of dollars. Do yourself a favor and decide on this one over all of the others out there.

I bought the WEIZE 54" x 34" x 6" 200lb Heavy Duty Roof Rack Carrier Basket with Waterproof Bag for a trip from Virginia down to Orange Beach Alabama. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy both the rack and bag are. There were 4 of us each with a weeks worth of clothes and necessities plus beach towels, ect. The bag held everything and still had some room. We drove through rain and thunderstorms nothing got wet. The rack is heavy and very well made. We had no problem putting it together and loading it up. It held up very well for this trip and I believe it will hold up for years to come. Definitely recommend.

Qualty. Ease in assembling. I sprayed it with primer then a coat of spray Herculiner. Perfect to prevent the road salt here in New England from corrosion and eating it up. Great price.. universal. Strong.
