WATERMAN Ballpoint Pen Refill, Medium Point, Black Ink (834254)

There are few things better than the feel of a quality pen in your hand, smoothly drawing ink across a page. Except, when the ink runs out. This is the product I chose to refill one of my nicest twist pens, and I am thrilled with the quality and the feel. I cannot evaluate the longevity, since I just started to use it.

I had bought my wife a Waterman ball point pen several years ago, when she asked for a good pen to use to do our book keeping. She saw a very nice blue pen in the window of one of our local jewelry stores, and told me that that was the one she wanted. We went inside, and it happened to be this Waterman. I must say, it was quite expensive, but her happiness was worth it to me, so I bought it for her, and had her name engraved along the side of it in gold. She used it proudly. Early this year, she passed away, way to early, from cancer. While going through our books to see where I stood , I found the pen, and discovered that it was out of ink. So, I came to Amazon and found the exact refill that I needed. The price was right, so I bought it. The pen is working flawlessly again. It means a lot to me to have it working, and I now keep it on my desk and use it to do my work with. It is now one of my treasures and a happy memory.

The refill is always good and worth the money for my ink pen

Looks very nice, good quality, and seems as a luxury pen, without having the excesive price of other pens. I'm not an expert in writing instruments, so I cannot tell about its writing characteristics. However, I don't see any cons regarding writing. Great size and weight. Don't see the point on spending in any pen that costs over $150. I have used expensive pens, and I don't see any difference worth paying three times the price. Service is great, very fast answering any concern. Delivery was earlier than expected.

Exactly what I wanted. Hard to find in the shops....couple of clicks and it came with a few days. Fits and works well immediately. Good purchase

I have had a Waterman ball point pen for over 15 years. I use it every single day and only use this refill. My last one went in right at 5 yrs ago before it ran out. I was shocked that it lasted this long; especially since this is used Mon-Fri each day and is my favorite pen. Great ink, works perfect every time. Tempted to go ahead and order another now in case something changes in the next 5 yrs.

Good quality

The Waterman refill worked on paper OK but it came in the sealed blister pack slightly flattened so that the pen would not fully retract the refill after use. There was too much contact pressure from the refill sliding against inside the pen. I tried to get a replacement but Amazon would not let me return it for a replacement. I was able to take a some pliers and get it round enough so it would slide freely in the pen and therefore retract. This is a first for me. I've never had problem with returning a defective product back to Amazon before. The pen was personalized gift from my son and I didn't want to get rid it. But it's the last time I order a refill from Amazon. This is the second time I've had a problem with this Amazon ordered refill. The first time I didn't find out until six months after I received two of them. They were both dry and would only write a few inches before they quit. After an hour, I could write a few more inches. This is either a very bad product or a product with very bad quality control.

The product is good, but I discovered I can buy the refill for half this price at Staples Canada...

I am a pen afficionado and I tried a multitude of different kind. I really like my Waterman because the ink flows nice and consistently even.
