The desk itself is absolutely gorgeous and sturdy with a heavy weight. This is solid wood. It reminds me of my old library tables from the 90s with that super smooth finish!The instructions are terrible. First they list like 5 different looking screws. There's really only 3. Someone else commented that the fat gold ones are for the legs, the skinny gold ones are for the knobs and the silver ones are for everything else. It's true. Also, my instructions said to attach the knobs last. Because the legs covered up the hole the bolt goes in to attach the knobs it's literally impossible to attach the knobs after the legs are put on.Do yourself a favor of having to take the legs back off and attach the knobs before you do anything else. Then set the instructions on fire.

Don’t buy this. It’s not worth it. It is not as long as it appears. The shelf under it won’t hold anything. It’s too skinny. Two chairs won’t fit either. Easy to assemble. The color matches my other furniture. I planned on putting a lot under it.

It’s a solid desk, and can tell it’s real wood. However, it did not come with all the parts and the instructions were unclear. Some areas that should be finished are needing to be sanded a little, few nicks. If it was half the price, I would say go for it!

I had this desk in my cart for a few weeks, waiting for the $50 coupon to drop but couldn't wait any longer. It is a solid, sturdy desk and was not hard to assemble. However, the two hooks on the side to hang headphones, etc., could not be installed as instructed because there was no opening on the inside of the lip. Instead there was one opening that did not go through to the other side, and two additional openings on the bottom side of the lip that served no purpose. I didn't intend to hang anything so I didn't install the two hooks but it was strange. I bought the desk for its long width and relatively short depth, which I needed for my small bedroom. I also bought it for the shelf on at the foot of the desk although it is only 5" in depth so it can't hold anything deeper than 10" without falling. All in all, it looks great, no scratches or dents except for the inability to install the 2 hooks. One disadvantage was the absence of any drawers and I initially thought it would be easy to simply buy some self-adhesive drawers but there is a 3" lip on all sides that prevent me from installing any drawers so I will have to think of another solution. All in all, I was really on the fence but I am glad I made the purchase.

The 63” desk/table aesthetic is fabulous but the quality was so disappointing. I was so excited to open the box and the first thing I saw was the scratch on the table top…okay that’s manageable but then piece after piece had issues - there are only 5 pieces of wood in the whole assembly, how are all of them damaged?! The worst issue was one of the leg pieces was missing its insert so there was nothing for the bolt to screw into. Just a bored out wooden hole. We had to take the leg piece and bolt to the hardware store to macgyver a solution. As with most furniture the directions were lacking and two different sized Allen keys for one item is always a pain (normally would not take away stars for that but I’m here anyway). Finally, while I appreciate an extra screw or two, I ended up with 13 extra pieces of hardware? I’m honestly wondering about the quality checks this manufacturer has in place. The wood is heavy and the design is great but for nearly $500 after taxes I expected much better quality.Okay, so why did I keep it? 1. I didn’t want to hassle with returning such heavy item. 2. Most of the damage is hidden (hopefully a wood stain pen can cover the scratch on the top) and finished product looks fabulous in my space.Would I buy from this seller again? Absolutely not.

Very good quality. Solid wood but not too heavy. Took less than 20 minutes to assemble. There are decorative knobs that are supposed to be placed on the ends but we couldn't figure out how to do this once the legs are in place. So I think the direction are incorrect. Not necessary anyways.

I couldn't be more pleased. Sadly, from ordering larger furnishings from Amazon vendors, I've come to expect shoddy workmanship, missing parts, and so-so quality. This piece FAR-exceeded those expectations on all accounts. It's a significant piece of furniture that I am not skittish about placing out in the open, among my other quality, name-brand, higher-priced pieces -- some custom -- I'd picked up overseas, inherited, or picked out in person in stores. I'm seriously considering a second one to make an L-shaped arrangement.

Shipped with two of the same leg, meaning the lower shelves could not be installed on the table. Way overpriced for the quality you receive and does not really look like the photos at all. Wobbly and returned this the next day.
