These are.the good ones
Works great. This is the first set of classifiers. I'm concerned the screens might not last but so far they are keeping up. I've marked them on the outside to identify the sizes quicker. I've tried them in a number of different mining situations and they work

Worked exactly as I needed
I purchased this to sift out debris from my existing rubber mulch. I was able to save and reuse 80% of my mulch while removing more than a 1 gallon bucket of sand/dirt, rocks, birdseed, weeds, and other trash. This saves me a lot of money as I refresh for the new year. The sifter is very durable and the high walls allow me to sift larger batches.

(Somewhat) Over Priced, but Very High Quality Product!
Minus 1 Star for being ridiculously expensive $12 bucks a pop in the Five-Piece Set (more than that if you are picking these up piecemeal), but still, high quality classifiers. Before you decide on purchasing these--know that if you are prospecting for gold, these are icing on the cake--you can pan for gold without fancy classifiers. These help you get through more material quickly (and hopefully, having consistent size material in your pan will help prevent you washing out your gold with your tailings. These are a great set (bought the 5-Piece Set). ALL screens in this set are Stainless Steel (not just the larger classifiers). Stacked, each pan stands about 1 3/4 inches above the last--I'd like them to stack with a slightly-lower profile for storage/transport, or even better maybe have two or three positions these can be stacked in (low profile for storage, medium/high for active use)--but we'll have to live with this for now. Classifiers fit nicely in any standard 5-gallon bucket--basically ANY old bucket will do--don't go out and splurge on a bucket. Recommend with SE GP1014G14 14" Green Plastic Gold Pan with Two Types of Riffles --the 14" gold pan stores nicely in this set. First glance: plastic seems sturdy (thick, yet slightly flexible)--basically what a Home Depot plastic bucket (or pretty much any plastic bucket) is make out of. Mesh is arched slightly upwards to better support material (raised even from the plastic cross members on the bottom of the pans). NOTE: The plastic cross members are beneath the mesh, and act as structural support. That said, these are plastic, and will degrade in direct sunlight (i.e: fade, and become brittle). I would recommend keeping these out of direct sunlight for any period of time--gives you an excuse to do your prospecting in the shade! It would be a shame to damage your (VERY COSTLY) classifiers! I'll try to add more to this review once I've taken these out a few times, but looking at other reviews, these should work great!

Worth the price
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Heavy duty. They are stackable and come with different size screen for screening varying size pieces. The screen mesh appears to be made of hardened stainless wire and would be difficult to distort and have never seen one rust or corrode. However the best feature for me is the bottom edge is rebated nicely to fit the rim or mouth of a standard 5 gallon bucket.

These Work Great for Finding Shark Teeth!
I use this to sift for shark tooth fossils, and it works great for that purpose! Dedicated fossiling equipment tends to be a good bit more costly than this was, so I was very happy to find it. I've used it probably about 5 times now, and it's held up well so far - I also find that it makes my wrists ache less than my old square sifter used to. I've recommended these to some other friends I also go fossiling with, and unfortunately two of them did end up purchasing the wrong size - one got the 1/2 inch, and another got the 1/8 inch one by accident. If you plan on using one of these for a similar purpose, the 1/4 inch is perfect, and the others were too big or small to really be effective (which is not the product's fault, of course). I would definitely purchase this item again in the future.

Great and can be multi purpose
These are really great classification pans , I bought the 9 piece set to use with gold panning but also other projects around the house ( reloading ammo and gardening)
