Q: is it two-way? I mean can the single hdmi end be plugged into a source device to drive more than one display, such as a tv or a projector?

Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, this switch is not 2 way. You are able to connect 3 HDMI inputs and output to 1 source only at a single time.

I have dumped this device. It doesn't auto switch and causes issues with connected tv recorders when they both want to record a program at the same time. I haven't found any suitable device that will create additional hdmi sockets and work properly. My solution is to buy a TV that has sufficient hdmi sockets for requirements.

I have the same problem. It’s fine if I’ve got the tv on and switch on my freeview recording box but if I want to connect to my DVD player then I have to select the input. I think it must just be how it works and I’ve had it for a long time now and just got used to it. Sorry I couldn’t come up with any smart fixes for you.
