Q: Is the handle hot to touch?

My handle is still wrapped and I don't have any trouble with it getting too hot to handle

Q: I bought a competitor's pot and it turns my yea black as tar. Will this one do the same? I dont plan on boiling water in it, but i do plan on keeping

We are yet to use the kettle. We will update once we use the same.

Q: Is this safe for glass top stoves?

If you're careful, YES, you can use this on a glasstop stove. Don't drag the pot over the burner and try not to drop it either or you'll scratch and damage the glass. I've been using cast iron with glasstop stoves for 25 years and it's been perfectly fine. So long as you're careful, your stove will be fine too.

Q: Can you put sugar in the teapot itself so when you pour in the water you have already sweet tea for each cup

I wouldn't recommend this method. Always better to make add ons in the cup.
