I was blowing relays on an Arduino relay board driving some irrigation solenoid valves. The relays would only last about a year. Looking into it, I realized I needed a snubber to reduce the voltage spike on turn off. With no snubber I was seeing peaks of about 300V, which eventually killed the relays. With the snubber as received, spikes were reduced to a little under 200V, which was still excessive. I replaced the 0.1uF capacitor with a 1uF capacitor and the spikes went down to about 60V, which the relay should tolerate nicely. Depending on what you're trying to do, you may have to adjust the values, but the boards are easily modified and worth the very low price. Nice purchase!

Simplicity snow blower switches would stop working constantly due to carbon arcing from induction chute motor, requiring youbto remove and clean them constantly.Installed these on each switch and so far so good, no more failures.(Coated in flexseal)

Update - seller sent correct qty of product and apologized for misunderstanding. I have updated my review based on that.They seem to work well at scrubbing spikes in my arduino motor driver project.After full installation, and testing, I'll update the review again.

For several months, I had been trying to figure out why the ESP-01 on the same circuit as my ceiling fan would reboot every time the fan was turned off. I came across the concept of RC Snubbers online and ordered these to see if they solved my voltage transient problem. Since installing the snubber the ESP-01 has been rock solid, no more reboots!!!

Used one of these to stop arcing in a relay I was putting a lot of current thru. Occasionally the relay would stick closed. Put one of these across the in and out of the relay and no issues since. Hope it stays that way.
