Sturdy and Reliable Tripod – Great for Photography and Video
This tripod has been a fantastic addition to my gear. The build quality feels very solid, with durable materials that provide excellent stability, even when supporting heavier cameras or lighting equipment. I especially like the adjustable height options — it’s easy to set up for both tabletop shooting and full standing shots. The legs lock securely in place, and the rubber feet prevent slipping, which gives me confidence when working on different surfaces. The head is smooth and allows for precise angle adjustments, making it perfect for both photography and video recording. Setup and breakdown are quick and simple, and the tripod folds compactly for easy transport. It’s lightweight enough to carry around but strong enough to handle professional use. Overall, this tripod is sturdy, versatile, and well worth the price. Highly recommended for photographers, videographers, or content creators who need a dependable stand for their gear.

Great Mid level Tripod for Videography and Photography
I absolutely love this tripod; it’s worth every penny! It comes with a high-quality carrying case, is built to last, and makes setup and breakdown a breeze. This tripod is incredibly sturdy and can handle whatever you throw at it. Plus, it’s specifically designed to work seamlessly with the DJI RS2 and RS3, allowing for effortless transitions between your camera, tripod, and gimbal. The array of adjustments is impressive, and the smooth operation with the included handle truly enhances the experience. The first time I set it up took me less than five minutes, and now I can take it down and set it up again even more quickly. This tripod is a game-changer for anyone serious about their photography or videography!

Great Tripod, That easy to use.
Really Like this Tripod and brand. As someone who needs equipment that can travel easy and not be afraid of damaging it or losing it Neewer is as good a brand as small rig. This tripod is easy to setup, is able to accommodate DJI Gimbal mounts as well. It has a simply to setup design, is fairly light weight and is very durable. The type of head mount makes it easy to adjust. For the money it's a great tripod

Sturdy, Smooth, and Perfect for Video Shoots
I’ve been using the NEEWER 74" Video Tripod for several months now, and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. Whether I’m shooting for my YouTube channel, doing product videos, or capturing some creative shots, this tripod has become a key part of my setup. Build Quality & Stability: The tripod is made of high-quality metal and is heavy-duty, which makes it incredibly stable. The max load of 22lb/10kg is more than enough for my gear, including heavier setups like a DSLR with a large lens and additional accessories. It holds everything securely, even in windy conditions or during active shoots. The sturdy build gives me confidence that my equipment is in safe hands. Fluid Head & Smooth Movement: The adjustable damping fluid head is fantastic for smooth, controlled movement. The 360° pan and +90°/-75° tilt allows me to get a wide range of angles, whether I’m doing sweeping pans or shooting at low or high angles. I love that the movement is smooth and precise, giving me professional-level footage. The fluid damping feature ensures that the transitions between movements are soft and stable, which is essential for video work. Dual-Mode QR Plate: The dual-mode quick-release (QR) plate is another great feature. It’s compatible with DJI RS Gimbals, Manfrotto, and other brands, which makes it versatile for a variety of setups. The quick-release mechanism makes it easy to set up and take down my camera, which is great when I’m working with limited time. Height & Adjustability: At 74", the tripod offers great flexibility in terms of height. I can easily extend it for higher angles or use the adjustable legs to level the tripod on uneven surfaces. It’s tall enough for most video shoots, and I can adjust it smoothly without feeling like I’m sacrificing stability for height. Portability: While the tripod is heavy-duty, it’s surprisingly easy to transport, especially considering its build quality. The adjustable legs can be folded down, and while it’s not the lightest tripod out there, it’s still manageable for location shoots. Conclusion: If you’re looking for a reliable, sturdy, and smooth tripod for video shoots, the NEEWER 74" Video Tripod is an excellent choice. The adjustable fluid head, smooth movement, and heavy-duty build make it a great option for professional videographers or content creators. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to up their video game.

Compares to higher priced Manfrotto tripods.
Extremely solid design with a very fluid and smooth head movement. This feels like a build quality I'd expect out of some higher-end ($200+) Manfrotto tripods but at a significantly lower price. Very light weight as well for the size, and the bag quality is exceptional. The head has a little "bounce back" and won't rest in a specific spot unless you have a heavy enough camera on it to hold it in place, but that's only a minor inconvenience for me. Exceptional product all around!

Missing handle
I wish I could give zero stars but the fact that this didn’t get shipped out with a handle! What the hell am I supposed to pan with?? Build is good and it’s robust and durable but I can’t speak on how the panning is without the handle.

Is good
Update- 11/15/2023 The seller contacted me and helped me out. This means a lot. You can buy and trust if anything happens the seller will help you. Superb customer service. And the tripod is solid and good. Is a good Tripod but I’ll share my experience. I bought it to film a shortfilm that we was shooting every weekend for a month and half. I was using a shoulder rig with battery and monitor . From the shoulder rig to the stand when needed . That’s when I started noticing the adjusting tension turn screw for the tripod to tilt down or up stopped working like it lost grip, maybe because of the weight? I called Amazon , for my luck the warranty with Amazon was over only with the company. I was filming Inhad no time to be tripod less.I tried fixing it . There is no way of really opening the whole thing . So when I unscrewed fully the adjusting tension screw, it has a washer so I took it off. It seems the screw now has more thread to hold on to. It’s working for now, but I’m treating it more careful. Is good but not full heavy duty. Those are the cons. Pros I like the 360 circular pan.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Having stuck to 'budget' tripods for years I've often encountered issues with stability, portability, and general functionality that should have been signs to buy a decent tripod rather than the cheapest, this is that tripod. While professionals will likely have much better options to choose from, I believe this to be an ideal choice for the amateur enthusiast. Build quality: The construction is solid, whether it's rocks, concrete, or moderate height so far no accidents have resulted in more than a light cosmetic scratch. Stability: One of the main reasons I needed an upgrade to begin with was that I had upgraded the equipment being mounted, with much larger and sensitive gear that amplified each wobble and shake, suddenly a strong gust had gone from inconvenient to downright hazardous. With the tripod however that issue is gone, without even using sandbags (or weights in general) the base stability is such that I've been able to simply pick a spot, fully extend the legs, and not encounter any perceivable movement in stills or video use, granted I'm not facing extremes like a tornado or something but this was a big deal for my environment. Functionality: Naturally there's the legs, all three of which can be extended and locked independently to suit your height, and feature adjustable feet to accommodate angled surfaces better, along with a simple combining bar to stabilise the legs when deployed. Where the really nice features come in though is the head design, with not just standard quick release but also support for DJI gimbals, independently lockable vertical and horizontal axis, adjustable sensitivity for both axis, a magnetic storage slot for the allen key used with the plate (this has been a god send), and my favourite; an adjustable arm that can be mounted on either (or if you have another, both) side allowing for use in awkward positions. Put simply, this tripod does a lot with the head that will go a long way in making your life easier in the field. Oh and there's a spirit level, because of course there is. Overall if you need an upgrade and it's at an affordable price, absolutely give this tripod a try, personally I waited for a sale and if I could go back knowing what I do now I'd have bought it at release, in a decade I may be using some crazy professional rig but for my current life this is the only tripod I want.

I'm a bit old-school so I know how much kit like this is 'supposed to cost'. And it's a lot more than this, let me tell you. For the money, this is a remarkably good tripod. It's solid, it's smooth, the head and plate are excellent. Little features like the magnetically locked hex key are appreciated. The rubber feet rotate to lay flat with the ground. Nice. I have Neewer lights, and now this. The next time I need a bit of camera gear, I'm heading straight to the Neewer store here on Amazon. If they have a product, I'm just buying it. No further research required. Trust earned. Amazing. Note to the real pros: this is AU$210. You probably shouldn't expect it to survive a visit to the front lines. For that you might still need to spend a couple of grand.
