I got this camera to 'watch over' my workshop. It is a lightweight, indoor camera - I would not put it out of doors. Setting up was not that simple. The camera cannot use 5GHz, and the advice is to disable 5GHz for duration of using 2.4 GHz only. I always worry about doing this, but it seemed to work fine. The camera then waits on a QR code from the app on the phone (which requires setting up an account). It grabs the QR code efficiently, and within seconds, was connected and the image stream started. It then creates a high quality image, whether in fluorescent or night/IR light. See images, and apologies for the state of the workshop! So, it is working well, with a good quality image, and for indoor use, is more than suitable. A few things that were frustrating. The camera seems to set up a private network with the phone, and cannot be seen by the surveillance software on my NAS, for example. This makes recording snapshots and video a matter of popping a cheap microSD into the device. It is not clear to me that the camera follows ONVIF protocols, but that could be my lack of understanding. There is the option of a cloud storage plan, but I did not want to take this out. What I will say is that the online chat support is superb. There's a chat window within the app, and I received prompt and accurate advice, particular over initial set up and network connection. A lot of manufacturers could learn from this company. To summarise, a really good camera, as long as you're happy with the camera/phone connection. The image is excellent, and the ability to move the camera (P and T) is appreciated. Zoom is digital, but not relevant to me. It is remarkable value for money, providing a great deal of functions of cameras costing up to 10X as much.

When I first saw this it was a special offer I think it was about 14 or 15 pounds but it's up to 24 I think now it's brilliant it's a shame you can't use it outdoors I need to get some film to stop bit glaring from the window inside my home I got the wrong stuff I did keep it outside for a while in a container but I'm worried about the wet getting in because it's brilliant the app the prophet I've been using is is a bit temperamental I don't know if it's me or the phone but it's it's not a brilliant app that definitely needs to improving but because it doesn't it seems we don't it doesn't seem to be smooth or it's like it's like on haven't got enough data and it needs to catch up so it might it might be my phone but I'm using it Wi-Fi on my phone but you know it's I don't think the actual app is it is rate very much I think that's quite low but don't take my word for it so the actual product is brilliant and it does what it says I'm really happy with it just a bit frustrated with the app or possibly my phone will something I've set up with but it's now 24 Pounds I'm definitely going to get another one definitely at this price I just wish to sort the power or maybe I need to sort my phone out so I don't know Galaxy it's about five years old okay fairly for money is brilliant I don't have to use the infrared because there's a bit of light outside and that's all it needed so I didn't use the infrared but if it's pitched back I would use it and it would be better but now at night it's with the little bit of light out in the back it's excellent it's really sensitive you can zoom in it I'm well impressed for the money I was really impressed and you can track people you've got motion detector you've got sound to take to you can speak to people you can hear people and it's got siren but it's it's for indoor only which you know you can't have everything for that price so yeah it's pretty well well impressed crikey leave me when I tell you I've not got shares in this company I wish I had got shares when it you know when it's about 14 if I could I don't know anything about it but yeah the glowing report is genuine yeah which I did own it was a brilliant you'll think I think it's intended as a baby monitor I'm not sure but I've been using it to monitor outside from a window and it's brilliant

I've had & been using these little Litokam indoor home security cameras for several months now & they have been great ! I downloaded the little elf security camera app to use them with & this has also worked great without any issues ! You can choose & use a good selection of features within the app for the cameras like, motion detection, motion detection alarm, so you receive messages alerts to your phone or tablet. You can also choose the sensitivity, low, medium or high. You can also turn on motion tracking so the camera will follow the subject & it's movement. You also have sound detection, where if it picks up unusual sounds, you will receive an alert. You can also choose human detection where it will only react to human forms & their movements, instead of picking up any & all other movements. You can also set schedules to. They also have night vision, which is a great feature to have when the lights are out. Plus it's great that you have the option of inserting a micro SD card to record your footage on. You can also choose to have & pay monthly or yearly subscription for a storage cloud within the app for the cameras if this is a better option for you as well. Also within the app, you are able to turn the cameras of your choice off using private mode if you don't want them on & recording continuously or you want some privacy. They are also really handy if like me you have any pets as well. It gives you peace of mind knowing if you have to pop out & about & go anywhere, that you are able to check on them & make sure they are all safe & sound. This Is one of the main reasons I decided to purchased them. They come with everything you need, so they are ready to set up & go straight out of the box & once connected to the little elf camera app. They are great little home security cameras & they've worked perfectly for me.

I absolutely love this Smart Wifi Camera, honestly the quality of the video is brilliant clear HD. I have been using this camera to monitor my daughter when I am not in the room and I works brilliantly with no buffering or connection issues, as soon as I open the app on my iPhone it will connect so quickly and show me live feeds clearly. The set up was so simply and easy I had mines up and running in 5 minutes and even linking it to my Amazon Echo box was easy. The features on the app are brilliant and they are so user friendly. I purchased over a month ago and I had zero issues honestly this product is superb. The customer care service that comes with the product are amazing they contacted myself to see how I am getting on with the camera and if I had any problems they could help me with.

Great little camera, can permanently record, better image than a wyze one, can control movement. Just like all these devices on set up switch off your wifis 5ghz while you install on 2.4ghz, then switch it back on after. Great, great value for money

Easy to set up. Performs fairly well. Zoom is OK, but not brilliant. Fair enough for the money. It'd be useful if it could be set to record to a NAS instead of a memory card (limited to 128Gb).

This is absolutely the last and final update. Now I have to watch advertisements in the App before the App will give me camera access! Ok. Last straw. I give up. It's going in the bin and I'm buying an indoor nest cam. May as well. Got 2 external nest cams already. Downgraded to 1 star because it now needs to go into the bin. Advertising in App and because of the poor network connectivity and reliability. No, it's not my home network. Final final Edit in this saga... Camera now keeps going offline randomly. It's within a couple of feet of the WiFi router. Home network is a rock solid Google Mesh Network with 1Gbps fibre broadband. Everything else working perfectly fine including 2 nest cameras and 2 nest protect. Just can't rely on this camera for a pet camera whilst we are away for a couple of days. Downgraded to 2 stars. Great when it works. Just doesn't work reliably. So, no good for my use. Final Edit: Software and device now very stable and has loads of new features since my original review so it's 5 stars for me. Edit: It seems a little more stable since writing this review but still keeps going offline on occasion for reasons that no one understands. Personally as good as this little camera is and for not a lot of money, if you need something reliable (like for a pet cam) then think carefully. Stays online for a short while and within 12 to 24 hours it is offline. Only thing that you can do is to physically unplug it and plug it back in again. Which is not much use as a pet cam when you're away for 2 or 3 days. WiFi is absolutely stable, solid as a rock. No issues at all with the other 8 or 9 devices across the network. 1Gbps fibre broadband too. Looks like it probably has a flakey WiFi adapter. Going to send it back.
