I originally purchased this because I wanted to create a movie space in our small apartment that normal couches couldn't fit through the doorframe of. It worked fabulously for that, much better than sitting on the floor. We have since moved and have now put it at the bottom of our bed (we have a queen bed, and it's just about as wide as it) to watch movies from with our projector. Is it the most comfy thing? No. But it isn't bad! Definitely better than a futon. This could work well as extra seating, something for your playroom, a gaming spot or something else. It has been a great purchase! Super worth it!

Preliminary review based on owning it for a few hours only. Super super happy with this purchase. Worked first out of the box; did not have to do anything. Was able to fit two 5”6 tall males (200lb & 150lb) well. Looks beautiful and feels great. Super comfortable. And the size is great. I am 5”6 and my feet are out of the sofa when I sit on it but the rest of my body fit in it. The two pillows are a nice addition for head support while sitting. I also tried it as just “chairs” so only the buttocks fit and the support was soft and high enough for me to bend my knees upwards (see my image) and be able to play games comfortably. It is also lightweight and I could slide it around easily or move it around easily. I have not tried it as a bed yet. So far 5/5 from an initial impression. Will update if anything.

Overal seems like pretty good quality. It’s pretty thick and seems well made. My 9 year old son likes it and thinks it is comfortable. However it’s a little to hard or firm for me.

Uncomfortable. Doesn’t fold easily. Frustrating to use bc it has metal hinges that click and can’t tell which end is the seat and which is the seat back. It is not really a bed or a chair and is impossible to sit on or lay on. Has just become an expensive dog bed.

Nice look, easy set up, light weight, strong finishing, no chemical odor...and perfect inside my Nissan NV200. We use as a bed and works just fine and cozy (we are not small couple!). The two little pillows are very useful but we still use regular pillows for sleep. Recommend!

*Update* Right around the 2 year mark, mid November, the seat started splitting badly -- I've patched with duct tape (as well as the splitting in the cross stitch section of the back) but unless I find some sort of cover, it's about time to replace it (the inner fluff gets everrrrywhere). Still haven't done anything on it except work (ie, type) and watch TV in the winter time. Current priced at $140, which I think is a bit high, but may be due to the holidays. I'm approaching 2 years and it can still function, but it does not look good anymore. Single adult person here, using it mostly as a couch in an upstairs office/den loft. Used very rarely in the first year, yet the zipper on the bottom began splitting a little over a year in. In the second year, I've used it more during quarantine as my work from home station and now there is a split in every section on the front and bottom where there's a cross stitch despite never using the other side of the couch (I sit in the same spot and simply type). I can count how many times it's been used as a bed on one hand and none have been for adult activity. Might last longer for tween children to full teens who won't wrestle on it and just simply chill, but I feel like that's the only thing I've done on it too... Still it looked nice in its glory days. Perfect for a low table or kotatsu.

My new futon just arrived today, and so far, it’s perfect. It will serve several functions: guest futon, for reading/meditation, and dog bed. I hope it’s comfortable to sleep in! Will write a follow up review once I try it. I agree with other reviews in that when it first comes out of the box it has a strong smell, but they all say it eventually goes away. I’m feeling very hopeful about this one! I couldn’t have bought this futon at a more perfect time! It has been the perfect quarantine futon, which has turned into my “home office” while working from home.

I needed some piece of furniture to be able to enjoy movies with a friend in my "man cave". I had limited floor space... and here it was, the perfect solution. It's durable "pleather", attractive, with a couple of pillows included... very comfortable. It also rolls up when not in use. Fantastic value. High recommended.
