Simple robot building card game yet don't look for a lot of depth or longevity
Robits is a very quick, fun, SIMPLE card game of building robots out of robot parts you can play with your kids. The game consist of only cards and has a very simple mechanic: layout 7 cards face up in a row, then layout 7 more cards facedown in a row above that row for each player in the game. Each player then draws either a face up card or a face down card on their turn to try and build a robot. On the cards is either a robot part: arm, torso, head, legs in different color schemes. There are some other featured cards with special functions such as draw top two cards and look at them, take one and place the other card back on the deck... or a card that acts as a wildcard part, etc.... As the game progresses you place the card you draw on the table to make your robot. You will need 5 cards to create your robot from the parts: one head, one torso, two arms and one set of legs. You play seven draw turns and at the end of the seventh turn all player discard any cards that are unusable for their robot and then add up their points. Each robot card has a value and you must have a completed robot to add up your robot total. You will also get more bonus points is you have three or more robot parts in the same color. Player with the most points wins.Pros: Easy to learn and teach kids to play, fast game that you can play multiple times, nice card graphics, the card quality is nice, not difficult at all to understand and play.Cons: Not a lot of choice within the game play since you can only draw one card and it can be either face up or face down, the simplicity can be a negative eventually since it can get rather boring after about the fifth game "my 4 and 5 year old boys love the game in the beginning but after a number of plays they wanted to play something else since there was nothing beyond drawing cards and build a simple 5 piece robot. That's it.Overall: It's not a bad game and with it being easy to learn and play you can get your kids or a group of kids up and running in no time but anyone over the age of 10 will get really bored with this after a number of plays.

Fun quick game!
My wife and I enjoy ROBiTs with just the two of us. (There aren't a lot of games that 2 people can easily play.) Next, we're going to try the 2-player variant I just learned, where we double the cards being used.

Love this game. It's fast to learn, really approachable play time, and great to play with my kids (4 and 7).
