My new favourite skincare range
I don't usually write reviews but I'm totally converted to coats and wanted to share how great these products are. I saw a friend using the moisturiser on TikTok so I gave it a try and my skin just loves it. My skin can get super dry but this makes it feel hydrated instantly and I love how glowing it looks after and even though it feels really moisturising its not heavy or sticky. Loved it so much I've bought the 3 step routine and the toner is amazing - never tried a toner like it, makes my skin so smooth and I've had zero breakouts since I started using it. The cleanser is ok, but the moisturiser and toner are officially my new faves.

Irritated my skin and caused burning
Comprising of a hydrating cleanser, toner and moisturiser this Coats Skincare multi product cosmetics kit advertised “for women and men” seemed a good idea to order. I’m going to throw it out there now and say this is review from a male user’s perspective.First thing I noted was the branding which is discreet and gender neutral. As a male, and one of the older generation at that, I would have no problems going to a store and picking up these cosmetics for myself. In this day and age it really shouldn’t matter but I would feel self-conscious if the branding was aimed more towards women and I would be unlikely to buy it.All products in this kit are fragrance free and whilst they do have a certain aroma to them it is very slight, which is good. Whilst I like my deodorant, aftershaves and colognes to have a strong aroma around them I don’t feel the same about any creams, lotions and potions I use.As soon as I used the hydrating cleanser I felt a slight burning sensation that soon started to intensify, so I stopped applying it and washed it off. I clearly had some re-action to the cleanser so it doesn’t work for me. Not to be beaten I let my skin calm down overnight and tried the toner the following morning, which I also reacted to. That evening I tried the moisturiser and had a reaction with that too. This kit is advertised as “for dry and combination skin” so I thought I would be fine, however this is not the case. As soon as I start applying any of the products there is an immediate burning sensation which quickly gets stronger and intensifies. There is something in this kit that my skin doesn’t like.Unfortunately, there is no way I can recommend the Coats Skincare set based on my experience.Disclaimer: I am privileged enough to be part of the Amazon Vine program and as such I have the opportunity request products that I would find useful/potentially buy to road test in exchange for an honest review. I am not paid for this and all of my reviews are unbiased and based on my own personal experience using the product.

Nice but pricey
These come in quite quirky packaging which seem to me to look like they have some kind of chemical elements or equation on them as if they have been scientifically researched and made??The cleanser is nice and creamy (a littl bit of a gel texture to it too) but goes on really nice and smooth and doesnt feel like it strips your skin at all. Similarly the moisturiser is also smooth with a slight gel consistency and feels nice and hydrating.I have only knocked a star off as I think for a relatively unknown brand £30 is a tad on the steep side.

Suitable for mixed skin
Very light weight products, I didn’t try the milk yet but the other two are very good for my skin…

Amazing results
I have been using these daily for about a week now and have really noticed an improvement in my complexion. The first thing is the cleanser , a little goes a long way and after only the first use my pores felt tighter and my skin felt so clean. It doesnt seem to have any aroma and is very rich and creamy. The water gel absorbs into skin without leaving that greasy feel and has a feint but lovely aroma that strangely reminds me of the sea. Using both products has made my skin much clearer looking and it feels very soft. This brand also does an amazing serum which when used with the cleanser and water gel gives skin such a gorgeous fresh glow. At 57 yrs of age with normal to dry skin this stuff is a real treat.Unfortunately the price is out of my budget but if I could afford to spend more this is exactly what I would buy because its simply the best I have tried. As far as I am concerned this stuff is precious and worth every penny , I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to have tried it and cant recommend it enough.
