You need to tie a loop in the end of the line; practice throwing it!
Bought to go in my kayak. A bit bulky and heavy compared to a previous one on my boat. So might have an issue with 'where to put it?' Essential to tie a hand loop in the retained end of the line. Use a 'figure of 8' loop which will slip around the wrist of the non-throwing hand. For throwing I removed the carrying strap and linked the ends together. This provides somewhere for the casualty to grab hold of.PRACTICE throwing it - an overarm swing works best.

Bought this as a present but so it's good and fast delivery too.

Poor build quality
The throw bag and line are of good quality materials. Check the knot in the bag before use, easily overlooked. The belt unfortunately is not of good quality. As soon as I put it around my waist, the bag ripped the buckle straight off.
