Good Value pack of ten, if you are an audio buff you would buy all metal ones to shield your signals from external electrical noise but I wanted something less expensive for small 13.8 volt power cables and so these are ideal.

Used this type of diy phono socket for many years. Always cheap and average quality. But, these ones are indeed low quality . Really flimsy construction and thin plastic. Applied heat with a soldering iron to solder on wiring and the plastic split and deformed. Had to be overly careful on subsequent sockets. They do the job but can’t get over how low quality they are. Won’t be buying any more.

cheap and cheerful done the job would buy again

Very cheap quality plastic - that I can live with, with very careful soldering.Unacceptable though, the pin and shroud are slightly mis-sized, and don't actually fit securely into sockets - making a poor electrical connection. I used them to wire between HiFi units, they can actually FALL OUT, and even a slight disturbance creates crackle in the audio.

Ideal for what I needed them for but would buy better quality metal ones for a home AV system.

I used this to lengthen the cable to my bird box & found them satisfactory,very easy to fit & delivery was excellent thanx
