Q: Are these suitable for traveling on a plane?

I found them to be totally unsuitable for my ears. I do have small ear channels. I followed the instructions exactly but the end result did not block the sound out nor did they stay in my ears. I find the best type of earplugs are the foam ones that I rip in half to fit my ear channels and block out sound sufficiently. I have used these on a Hercules plane that is very loud inside and they worked a treat. Good luck.

Q: Has anyone compared these to ProGuard? Is it made from the same material?

I have tried both, the material is the same...the big difference is you get more of the material with lugguards, I managed to squeeze 3 pairs out of lugguards and only 1 pair out of pro-guard.

Q: Would this be suitable to protect my ears when I drum?

Hi, I wore these in a regular nightclub where I worked along side with the DJ and they where not as good as the standard industrial safety ones. They didn't decrease the volume enough for me, I went back to the ones provided. They will protect your ears but if your heads moving all the time I doubt they will be better then the standard ones. Have you tried the standard ones?
