Fun gift with unexpected results
Cheesy, hilarious, and the drawings are endearing. My kid loves flipping through it and practicing sleight of hand. The magic tricks are actually quite practical and allow for someone to build upon the base of the trick. It is rudimentary, but a good intro to magic and stage performance with an "old timey" vibe. It's a great conversation piece with my kid too; discussing how to play to a crowd, what is politically correct, what isn't, and why.

It was OK but not exactly what I had in mind...was looking for something more for beginners, My mistake, I guess.
