Mine were all the same. You can choose which one you want and all three are the same.

Q: can this be used on metal?

Absolutely . I have found it can be used on almost everything

Q: Is it water proof? Can i use with the faucet?

This is a carnauba wax compound so it will resist water, but it is not water proof for long periods. I have seen it used on metal to add a "patina" but haven't seen it used for an application that was exposed to regular moisture. I assume that like most waxes, soap will eventually remove it, though its solvent is mineral spirits. It is easy to apply though so give it a try, and if it needs to be touched up now and again it is inexpensive and easy enough to reapply. See what happens. Keep in mind too that many of the metallic looks it offers are made with metal powders. Some of those may oxidize if exposed to oxygen for long. You could try applying a clear coat to it to prevent this. Perhaps a clear lacquer?

Q: are there three tubes?

You only need one tube. I have ordered three tubes because I have different color frames that needed to be touched up.
