Dear friend, the LED colours of the car stereo keep changing because of the "AUTO" mode you have selected. If you don't want the colours to change all the time, you can choose one color that you like as in the attached video. Then the backlights of our car radio will always show that colour.

Q: How can I save the equaliser settings (bass and treble) and also the colour setting please, so I don't need to set these every time I start my car?

Dear friend, Only when the yellow cable remains uninterrupted can the machine have the power off memory function. If your car stereo have not the power off memory function, pls check the cable connection again. The yellow and red lines can not be connected together. The yellow line need to connected to the power supply and the red to the ACC key control.
