Great tool for learning your first Kanji!
I've been studying kanji using flashcards, and can read many pretty well when I see them. However, I don't practice writing enough, and struggle to recall most kanji without seeing them. This book is a great help. Each kanji is presented clearly, along with its meaning, readings and stroke order. There is space to practice each character. And plenty of exercises to help really embed what you've learned. This book makes it very easy to just pick up, and practice a few kanji for 15 minutes when you're free. And anything that makes learning easier and less hassle, can only be a good thing. This book covers the first hundred or so kanji you need for JLPT N5. Hopefully it's popular enough that they make books for the next 2,000+ kanji we need for N1!

Japanese learner loves it!
Bought as a gift for my son who is learning Japanese at college. While Kanji is not the most common, he said it is extremely useful and will help his learning development.
